Dr. Villagonzalo graduated from New York College of Podiatric Medicine in 1999. He went through surgical residency, a surgical fellowship thereafter and is board qualified in foot surgery. He is a commisioned naval officer. He served honorably on active duty and he is currently serving in the reserves.
A native of Queens, New York, he and his wife, Monaliza, an AORN certified Registered Nurse, moved to Ithaca in early summer of 2008. Whereupon, they established his solo practice, Podiatry Services of Ithaca in Community Corners. Far from being a stranger, he has long established ties to Ithaca. As a teenager, he has spent his summer months to join family in Cayuga Heights.
